Sitges as a cosmopolitan town that welcomes visitors from all over the World

Apart from its beauty, one of the most wonderful things about Sitges is that it has a such a utopian culture and every one who comes here is able to relax, be themselves and have a great holiday...Sitges is gay friendly, lesbian friendly, hetero friendly and family friendly, in fact, Sitges is everybody friendly!

Sitges4Women
Like so many other places in the World, there are more places to go and things to do for gay men than there are
for gay women and Sitges is no exception. However each year, more and more lesbian women discover that Sitges is a great holiday destination because one of the very special things about Sitges is that anyone can almost go anywhere! For full details on what's available in Sitges check out the gaymap which can be picked up in most places in Town.

Lesbian Bars/clubs in Sitges
Sitges is a night time playground and there are loads and loads of bars, cafes and clubs in the town: straight, gay and mixed. Now here's the bad news...there is no bar/cafe in Sitges that is for women only as most places are open to all. There is a fabulous sea front terrace bar/cafe in Playa San Sebastian called Um Bar which is owned and run by gay girls but again, its clientel is open to all. But that is one thing that makes Sitges so special, whoever you are, you can almost go anywhere, with only a few places that really aren't quite for women! But all is not lost...read below:

Recommended Beaches for girls
The shoreline of Sitges is made up into 17 sandy bays and each has its own attraction in terms of where it is i.e. central town where it gets very busy or further down the beach where its more tranquil and who goes there i.e. family orientated, a younger crowd or the gay beach which is right in the centre of town.

The main gay beach is right in the centre of town and is in front of Bar Picnic. You can't miss it! This year we are promoting Riera Xica (which is about 5 minutes walk from the main gay beach and one beach past Bar Kansas) as the sun spot for women. Celica runs the beach and offers sun beds and umbrellas, there is a great chiringuito (beach bar) and a massage tent.
